Hospital expansion offers enhanced patient services

Timpanogos Regional Hospital's $32.6 million expansion and renovation is complete, and the hospital stands ready to better meet healthcare needs in our growing community. The comprehensive patient services offered at our hospital have also been enhanced to include innovative tests and procedures in cardiac, cancer and women's services.

The expansion includes a 54,461-square-foot addition and 29,600-square-foot renovation. The new third and fourth floors feature 24 private patient rooms, increasing the total number of beds from 60 to 105. Additionally, renovations on the second floor include new critical care and intensive care units, each with 10 beds. State-of-the-art technology that enhances the quality and safety of patient care is available to caregivers in newly added and existing clinical areas.

"We are now able to diagnose and treat heart attacks sooner and provide new solutions to patients with chronic irregular heartbeats."

Timpanogos Regional has always provided quality patient care and continues to do so. Its more advanced services include specialized care for premature newborns and at-risk babies in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Women with high-risk pregnancies receive the care they need to safely deliver their babies closer to home. Cardiac patients receive exceptional care with fewer complications, as documented in 2008 by the American College of Cardiology.
